SynergX Technologies Announces Entry into Automotive Glass Inspection
Systems Provide Manufacturers with Productivity and Yield Management Tools
Montreal, Quebec, September 7, 2004 - SynergX Technologies Inc. a leading global supplier of automated optical solutions and related services, today announced that it has entered the automotive glass inspection business. Automated Optical Inspection Systems using proprietary image acquisition and image processing technology, combined with mechanical engineering and systems engineering expertise are now available for deployment for use in the automotive glass manufacturing process. The systems will be used for the inspection of automotive glass products, including windshields, backlites, sidelites and sun roofs for defects in raw material and damage to products created in the production process. SynergX solutions for the automotive glass industry will allow manufacturers to decrease material costs, improve productivity and reduce their part per million defect rates to levels that are not possible with human inspection.
SynergX has received its first order for its Autoglass Inspection Systems and will be shipping this system in the 4th Quarter of 2004.
With the release of the Autoglass Inspection Systems, SynergX now provides systems and services two global industries, the brewing industry and now, the Automotive Glass Industry.
